About the Network

The Tabletop Talespinners Network is an independent podcast network founded by Emma Kocar in March 2023. She began producing actual plays during the pandemic, and realized that she had far more stories to share with the world than the one she was telling at the time. Since then, she and her team have focused on bringing the voices that you don't typically see in your favorite actual plays - women, people of color, and LGBTQ+ creators - to the forefront of the stories told by TTN.

Representation matters, and we want people to be able to see themselves represented in the GMs, players, and characters of TTN's stories in the same way that white men in the community consistently do.

The Team

Emma Kocar - Founder and Creative Director

Emma Kocar is an actor, GM, and producer in the actual play space with a passion for meaningful storytelling. Her credits within the network include Chronicles of Chreathe (DM/Producer/Audio Editor), Improv Madness (DM/Producer/Audio Editor), All Our Faults (Producer), and Magnificence (Khuvos Nemenath/Producer/Assistant Editor).

When not working on TTN’s many shows, Emma can be found guesting on a multitude of channels across the actual play space! Her current long term role is in AintGotCrit’s Philly by Night, where she plays a French Nosferatu named Josette Pernet once a month! She is also a proud dog mom, and her 4 year old German Shepherd mix, Vinnie, can be heard as the occasional guest in various blooper reels across the network.
